Basically, there are three ways that you can participate in our mission to transform lives among the unreached and here in our country. You can reach out in the the spirit of grace and compassion and become a change-agent today. For yourself…and for the nations.
Connection is step one! You will receive our monthly newsletter, email updates on projects and prayer needs, and you will learn how to better be involved reaching those who truly need your help. You will be entering into The Transformation Fellowship where together we empower people and meet crucial needs every month.
Prayer is the fuel few use. It’s one of the most talked about of any spiritual practices, but one of the least practiced. We will encourage you and help you develop a desire for a deeper part of your life by involving you in our projects. Knowing the names of those you are helping, knowing the area they work in, or knowing the name of the village you gave water to will fuel your efforts.
No medical need is met, no well is dug, no worker helped or family fed, no outreach accomplished, nor is an orphan taken care of without a financial gift. The smallest gift in the areas we work can accomplish more than you can imagine. In a place where the average person makes less than $200 a year, a gift of $30 can have a massive impact.
Transforming Lives Forever
We speak to people one on one. We speak to people in groups of two or three. We speak to people in groups of tens and fifties. And we speak to larger groups if we can. If you don't engage people where they live and in the context of their life, it's incredibly difficult to demonstrate the power of transformation and change. WE offer hope, opportunity, and possibilities.
The world has changed and a new era of missions has dawned. The role of Western missions has moved from Western domination to the east. For the last half century, new churches in a multitude of countries have been raised up and taken their places, leading the way through indigenous groups. We from the West, who recognize this, have attempted to take the role NOBODY wants...that of SERVANT. It is a moral responsibility to utilize the assets God has entrusted us with, and every church and individual should reevaluate their missionary responsibility and role with fruitfulness at the goal...not just going abroad. Growing partnerships is crucial, and we have been actively doing this for over 30 years. There is so much to do, and we need to avail ourselves of emerging opportunities with one thing in mind ~ The Kingdom of God manifesting in the body of Christ globally. (Ken Harbour)
Our Save The Daughters Project is a prime example of our effectiveness. Each year we will warn between18,000 and 25,000 young children about the dangers of trafficking and how to avoid it. We also leave a message of hope along the way.
The Scriptures say, “Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” James 1:27 We have young mouths to feed and minds to educate…want to help?
Livestock can be the most empowering gift you can provide to a rural family in the areas we work in. In particular, goats do very well. They are inexpensive, create milk, butter, meat and manure ~ which is fuel for cooking. Essentially, goats are a cash business. And, they can produce up to three kids a year creating a future for a struggling family. Give a goat today!
The Transformation Fellowship initiated and oversees one of the most successful anti-trafficking ministries in Nepal. This effort reaches thousands of people every year, warning young girls and families about those who would prey on them.
Serving Christian women who are victims of abuse from culture, custom, or poverty has always found a place at Transformation Fellowship. The simplest item like a set of cooking pots, a simple stove, a sewing machine for a micro-business, or a shallow well will totally transform a sister’s life.
Ever since the beginning of our activities in the late 1980’s, we’ve targeted all our activities abroad among the least reached peoples in some of the world’s most difficult places. We’ve particularly focused on the peoples of the Himalayan Mountain Range of North India, and Nepal. Our teams go out, and they are fruitful, effective, and result-oriented.
Providing the needed tools for poor rural pastors and traveling teachers finds a place in our heart. These seasoned men we’ve partnered with will see this transportation as a great blessing. It is so simple to help one of these faithful men.
