Children stop going to school for many reasons. Often their parents cannot even afford basic school supplies like a pencil or a book. So they decide that rather than face the shame of going to school without proper clothes or any supplies, they go to work.  Despite this, the majority of poor families understand the value of education for their children, and would, if they had the choice, send their children to study more and work less.  Because of this, The Transformation Fellowship has taken the approach to support the efforts of poor mountain families who care.  Your gifts will make sure a young girl or boy has hope rather than a life of 14 hour days as a child laborer.

Touch A Child's Life

   The picture at the right was taken in a typical village during the summer.  The children are being fed.  Notice the plates!!  Simple leaves have been transformed into plates.  But they are getting some rice and just maybe during the day they will have lentils too.  If they are really lucky, they will eat good protein once or twice a month.

   Almost 33% of the population of Nepal is under the age of 14, and poverty affects the lives of children in the hardest ways.

   A brighter future can be given to a young mountain or lowlands village child with as little as $12 each month.  You can create change by offering regular education classes, food during the school period, materials such as pencils and expensive paper supplies, and yes….hope. 

   The children we help are truly the needy.  They are the disadvantaged, those living in the midst of conflict or natural disasters, and those who have been abandoned and taken in by a caring Christian family.  Your gift can change a life!
