Financial Accountability

It is required of a Steward that he be found faithful...

FOR WHATEVER A MAN SOWS...THAT WILL HE REAP...

The Transformation Fellowship is fully committed to proper governance, financial oversight, transparency and truthfulness in communication.   Because we are accountable to both our donors and to God, our founders and board believe that responsible and transparent use of funds is not only vitally important, but a requirement far beyond any standard men have.  We believe our projects, being measurable, accountable, and fruitful, not only reap benefits for those in the field labouring to extend the Good News, but also our donors and ourselves, what the New Testament calls "co-laborers."  Our goal is to see fruit with your gifts as our Lord Jesus said, "You shall know them by their fruit."  That's a primary reason we work on a project basis and our donors appreciate our constant updates on the projects they are involved in.  WE ARE NOT PRIMARILY A  FUNDRAISING AGENCY ~ WE ARE A PLANTING, SOWING, AND REAPING AGENCY.

Our annual financial statements are reviewed by our Board of Directors on a monthly basis monitoring money coming in and money going out.  It is also reviewed by the Internal Revenue Dept. each year.   Our annual report
and copies of current form 990 are available upon written request.  We are committed to being good stewards of the gifts you entrust to us. The Transformation Fellowship strives to keep administrative costs low so that as much as possible goes toward reaching villages for Christ and fulfilling the Great Commission.  For over 32 years, leadership has conducted itself in a "tent-making" ministry so as to funnel as great a percentage to projects as possible.  Staff raise their support independent of projects.

Approximately 95 percent of funds received in 2018 went directly to ministry-related activities.  Only 4% were utilized for fundraising. The Transformation Fellowship, Inc., is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with an independent board of directors. Contributions are tax-deductible, to the extent of the law.

We do not sell or rent our donor information to other organizations.  We do not participate with the  ECFA because this organization requires much money and in the past has shown its ovesight to be negligent of those who abuse funds.  We do not recognize its standard as having the integrity of our own.
